Vasotec is a prescription medication used to treat high blood pressure and congestive heart failure. The active ingredient in Vasotec is enalapril, which belongs to a class of drugs called angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors (ACE inhibitors). ACE inhibitors work by blocking the action of a hormone called angiotensin II, which causes the muscles surrounding blood vessels to contract. This relaxation of the muscles allows blood vessels to widen and lowers blood pressure. ACE inhibitors also help the heart work more efficiently by improving its ability to pump blood out of the heart and decreasing fluid retention. Vasotec comes in tablet form and is usually taken once or twice daily, depending on your dosage

I had never even heard of this drug before. Until I was advised to buy it by my acquaintances. After consulting with the doctor, we decided to buy it. My blood pressure really normalized. I didn’t have any side effects. However, I have no other complaints except high blood pressure. That is why I can’t say that the same result is true for everybody.
