Meloxicam oral suspension comes in a liquid form that is taken by mouth using a dropper or syringe. The usual dose for adults is 0.5 mg/kg per day given as a single dose or divided into two doses per day. The dose may be increased up to 1 mg/kg per day if needed. The maximum daily dose for adults should not exceed 15 mg.
