While Isordil can be very effective in treating angina, it can also cause side effects such as headache, dizziness, and lightheadedness. Additionally, because Isordil can lower blood pressure it should not be taken by people with low blood pressure or those taking medications that also lower blood pressure
Isordil is a moderate to long-acting oral organic nitrate used to relieve and prevent angina pectoris. The drug relaxes vascular smooth muscle and, as a consequence, dilation of peripheral arteries and veins. Dilation of veins promotes peripheral blood pooling and reduces venous return to the heart, thereby reducing left ventricular end-diastolic pressure and pulmonary capillary wedge pressure (preload).- Can help relieve chest pain and improve blood flow

I have been taking this medicine with great success! I used to have very severe chest pains, but since I started taking this medicine, I rarely have them.
