I have been taking Gleevac for about 9 months now. I was diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukemia about 2 years ago. At first I was prescribed another medication, but it didn’t work for me, so my doctor prescribed Gleevac. Within 2 weeks my blood count changed from very high to normal! I haven’t had any problems with this medication since.
