Femilon (Ethinylestradiol+Desogestrel) for transgender hormone therapy
Femilon (Ethinylestradiol + Desogestrel) is a commonly prescribed transgender hormone therapy. It is a combination of two hormones, ethinyl estradiol and desogestrel, which helps to suppress the production of testosterone and replace it with estrogen. This therapy can help reduce or eliminate many of the symptoms associated with transgenderism, such as excessive body hair, male-pattern baldness, and deepened voice. Additionally, it can help to promote breast development and feminine body shape. While Ethinylestradiol + Desogestrel is not without its risks (such as an increased risk for blood clots), it is generally considered to be safe and effective for most people who undergo transgender hormone therapy.”
Transgender hormone therapy refers to a variety of treatments used to change the secondary sex characteristics of someone who does not identify with their assigned sex at birth. One common type of transgender hormone therapy is ethinyl estradiol + desogestrel – a combination pill that contains two hormones: ethinyl estradiol (an estrogen) and desogestrel (a progesterone). This medication helps suppress the production of testosterone in the body while replacing it with estrogen. As such, it can help reduce or eliminate many symptoms associated with transgenderism – including excessive body hair growth, male-pattern baldness, deepening voice pitch ,and more feminine breast development .
While there are some risks associated with taking ethinyl estradiol + desogrestel (such as an increased risk for blood clots), this medication is generally considered safe and effective for most people who undergo transgender hormone therapy
