I have prolactin three times higher, at first the doctors prescribed natural herbal medicines, which did not help me one bit. Then they prescribed Dostinex twice a week in half tablet doses. I take them at night, so I didn’t feel any side effects. Three months later my prolactin level went down to normal, my hormones restored. The minuses were: expensive medicine, side effects (of course, I did not feel them myself). On the plus side, you need to take them rarely.

I am distrustful of all hormones and have always tried to avoid them, but I was forced, as people say, by necessity. I have been a nursing mother for exactly one year and eleven months, and the time has come to wean the baby. Luckily for the baby it was easy and painless emotionally, but for me it was hard. The milk would not go away and it only piled up, it only piled up. My breasts were unbearably painful and the pumping didn’t help. My mammologist advised me to use this drug according to the following regimen: first day - half a pill, two days later (on the third day) half a pill again. I had to repeat the scheme after a week, because the milk production decreased slightly. So, in total I needed two pills of Dostinex to stop lactation. I didn’t experience any side effects of the drug and I wish the same for others.
